In the era of automation and smart technology, safety is not far behind. Electric strikes have become an essential solution for both homes and businesses.But... what is an electric strike?
It's a device that's installed on the door and allows it to be opened with an electrical signal. It's controlled remotely via a button, a remote control, or even a smartphone, eliminating the need for physical keys. Here's why they're the best option: 🛡️ Enhanced SecurityThese devices provide more secure access control, allowing only authorized people to enter your property. 🚪 Comfort and Efficiency: Forget the keys. With remote opening systems, you can open the door from your phone or with a remote control. 📹 Integration with Security Systems: They can be integrated with video surveillance and alarm systems, offering complete protection and real-time monitoring. 💪 Durability and Resistance: Designed to be robust, the electric strikes withstand adverse weather conditions and constant use. ♿AccessibilityIdeal for people with reduced mobility, facilitating entry without the need to handle physical keys. DORCASFor over 50 years, we have been pioneers in access control solutions. Our mission is to offer products that combine cutting-edge technology and innovative design to guarantee maximum security and convenience for our customers.
N NORMAL FUNCTION
It remains closed, keeping the door locked until it receives an electrical impulse.A STANDARD DELAY ACTION
When receiving an electrical impulse it is unlocked and remains unlocked until we cross the door.
FLEX LATCH
Allows precise installation by adjusting the position of the latch to reduce the door's clearance.
MONOBLOCK LATCH
It is the most traditional option, being able to offer more reinforced models with this option.
RADIAL/NON-RADIAL LATCH
The radial latch reduces the cut-out in the door frame and allows additional functions, as it rotates on an axis displaced towards the base of the electric strike, resulting in less rotational sweep of the latch during opening.
MONITORING
Monitoring 305 provides information about the status of the door. Additionally, 325 provides system information.
FAIL SECURE
In idle status the electric strike is blocked. Upon receiving current the system unlocks allowing the door to be opened.
FAIL-SAFE
The elecric strike needs to receive constantly current to remain locked. When the power supply is cut, the electric strike unlocks, allowing the door to open.
ALTERNATING CURRENT
It is widely used and generates a characteristic buzzing, making it ideal for use by pulsing or short spaces of time.
DIRECT CURRENT
It is silent and recommended for long-term power applications, such as low-consumption electric strikes.
DST Technology
The DST (DORCAS SLIDING TECHNOLOGY) system guarantees opening in both normal type (fail secure) and reversed type (fail safe) electric strikes, with preload of up to 20kg. To provide additional security, the electric strike is equipped with a secondary system that guarantees locking if the opening is not authorized.
